Beginner 3 level description:
A great course for those who have completed Beginner 2 course or similar. Here is a summary of what students will learn by the end of the Beginner 3 level:
COMMUNICATION: Students will learn how to make plans with others, ask for and give directions, reserve a table at a restaurant, read a menu, order food, ask for the bill, and express their preferences about food. They will also learn to talk about past activities and events, describe experiences such as work events or parties, and refer to events in chronological order
GRAMMAR: The verbs sapere and potere; the verb piacere + noun; interrogative and declarative sentences; the passato prossimo with the auxiliaries essere and avere; connectors such as allora, prima, and poi; time expressions such as ieri, la settimana scorsa, il mese, and la data; and interrogatives such as quando, chi, and con chi.

A great course for those who have completed Beginner 3 course or similar. Here is a summary of what students will learn by the end of the Beginner 4 level:
COMMUNICATION: Students will learn how to talk about hobbies, sports, shopping, and free-time activities, as well as discuss what they can or cannot do. They will practice conversations for shopping in a store or at a market and planning activities with others. Students will also learn to describe a city or neighborhood, ask where a place or person is located, write an email inviting a friend to their home, and talk about public transportation.
GRAMMAR: The verbs potere and sapere; agreement between nouns and adjectives in plural; color adjectives; direct object pronouns; the partitive articles (dei, delle, degli…); the particle ne; the interrogative quanto; the verbs essere and esserci (including c’è / ci sono); the verbs venire and volere; and prepositions in and su with articles.
