Postnatal Zoom Yoga with Kate
Postnatal Yoga for mum & her baby can help rebuild strength in the pelvic floor, arms & legs whilst reminding you how to hold your body & activate your inherent core stability, even when it feels like it's disappeared. You will practice sequences for abdominal toning & lower back pain alleviation. The Yoga postures are specifically chosen for the postpartum body & will help to get you feeling back to yourself.
Please make sure your GP has signed you off to attend exercise.
Plenty of parking & time for you to arrive & settle.

Its quite right that when we come to yoga, we want to learn the postures so we can practice intelligently. Or sometimes as a long-term practitioners, the shapes start to feel habitual & we become ready to look at variations on the alignment because the 'usual' cues just don't cut it anymore.
In the first of these once monthly, 90 minute mini-workshops, Lucy will deconstruct five familiar postures every month & then help you reconstruct them with renewed attention to detail.
Every month, asana Lab will take you on a journey through the asanas, helping you discover new ways of transitioning through postures & discovering what suits you prop & modification-wise, in each pose.

Why choose this 200hr Training?
There are so many trainings to choose from right now; 100% online courses with studios in other countries are even an option. First, I suggest you take your time & think about what is important to you – speed of getting it done, will you want to teach online or teach face to face? Do you work full-time, does it need to be nearby, do you want to teach a specific type of yoga? Is being aligned with a lineage important to you?
CYTT Ltd’s 200hr training is not a quick course; this is a non-lineage course, meaning we aren't following the teachings of any modern day guru, though we do look at several lineages for reference. Instead we use the teachings of Patanjali as explained by Desikachar for our guide. This course takes 10 months, exactly because moving bodies & sharing ageless wisdom is a big responsibility. Your confidence when delivering classes to people who trust you, is vitally important. You can only call yourself a teacher if you have students & students only come back, when they feel safe & the yoga is interesting & inspired. Therefore, I have designed a course that delivers in detail all the areas I wasn’t sure about when I went out there to teach my first classes, 10 years ago, as well as all the anatomy & physical yoga you'd expect.

Your trainee pass will become available to you only when all your fees are paid in full. The CYTT 21/22 trainee pass commences on 18th September 2021 & will end on the 5th June 2022 (your last month will be prorated). There are no exceptions to these terms.
