Perfect Pitties: Level 1 Obedience Workshop
Strong, smart, and full of personality, bully breeds thrive when they’re given clear guidance and positive outlets for their energy. That’s why we created Perfect Pitties—a Level 1 Obedience workshop designed for bully breed dogs, pit bull mixes, and the people who love them.
This class focuses on building calm, confident, and polite companions through clear communication and reward-based training. While we cover essential obedience skills, Perfect Pitties places extra emphasis on the areas bully breeds often need the most support, including:
-
Impulse control around people and in exciting or distracting environments
-
Neutrality around other dogs, teaching calm observation rather than over-arousal
-
Mouthing and nippy behavior, with a focus on bite inhibition and appropriate outlets
-
Jumping and body awareness, especially during greetings and play
Each week builds on the last, gradually introducing mild distractions to strengthen focus, self-control, and reliability. We also address common nuisance behaviors as they arise, using positive reinforcement methods that are clear, effective, and confidence-boosting—for both dogs and humans.
Perfect Pitties is open to any bully breed dog or mix 3 months of age and older, and is ideal for anyone looking to set a strong foundation for lifelong success.
Intro to Agility Workshop This fun and engaging 6-week workshop is designed for dogs and handlers who are new to the exciting world of agility! We'll cover:
- Foundation skills: Body awareness, obstacle introduction, and basic handling techniques
- Building confidence: Positive reinforcement and gradual progression
- Teamwork: Developing clear communication and a strong bond with your dog
Welcome to Scent Lab, where your dog’s nose takes the lead. In this engaging 6-week class, dogs learn to use their natural scenting abilities through structured search games, odor introduction, and progressively more challenging scent puzzles.
We’ll cover the foundations of nosework step by step, helping handlers learn how to read their dog’s body language, support searches effectively, and deliver rewards at the right moment. As teams progress, dogs gain focus, independence, and problem-solving skills while working in a calm, purposeful environment.
Scent work is ideal for nearly every dog — energetic dogs who need an outlet, thoughtful dogs who love a challenge, and even shy dogs who benefit from confidence-building activities.
No prior experience required. Just bring your dog and their incredible nose.
This 6-week in-person class focuses on essential training, socialization, and obedience for puppies ages 2-6 months. Working towards AKC Puppy S.T.A.R., puppies learn polite greetings, calm vet visits, leash manners, and core obedience cues like sit, stay, and come, all through positive reinforcement. In the final week, eligible puppies can complete the AKC Puppy S.T.A.R. evaluation.
