Spring Awakening: Yoga Nidra & Sound
Kat is thrilled to share two of her most beloved and deeply transformative practices, Yoga Nidrā and sound woven together into one unique experience. Drawing from her training in both modalities, she will guide Yoga Nidrā alongside the soothing vibrations of her gong, singing bowls and other sacred instruments, crafting an immersive soundscape that supports deep rest, balance, and ease. Participants may find themselves hovering between wakefulness and sleep, held in a deeply restorative state.
Yoga Nidrā, often called yogic sleep, invites the body into profound rest while the mind remains gently aware. Paired with sound, the practice supports the nervous system in shifting from an active state into one of restoration, allowing brainwaves to slow and the mind to quiet without needing to do anything at all. In this spacious state, clarity can arise, stress softens, and a sense of renewal becomes accessible.
Centered around the energy of spring awakening, this experience offers an invitation to clear mental fog, release what is no longer needed, and reconnect with a deeper sense of wholeness and fresh beginnings.
Kat recommends wearing comfortable clothing, bringing anything that helps you feel cozy and supported such as a blanket or eye covering, a journal for reflection, and staying well hydrated before and after the practice.
Please note that the studio will have props, mats and blankets for comfort.
