In this training you will learn this ancient technique and how to apply Reiki to modern day life.
In this experiential hands-on training you will:
- learn about Reiki (what it is, expectations, the history, tradition, different levels, and principles of Reiki)
- explore basic concepts of energy for healing and the role of a healer
- discover your ways into sensing energy
- learn how to offer Reiki to friends, family and yourself (and practice offering)
- leave with tips on how to incorporate Reiki into your life
- a Reiki One attunement allowing Reiki energy to channel through you (the attunement is with you for life)

is an immersive, dynamic and accessible program available to those looking to explore the practice of yoga. YES Yoga isn’t just a teacher training, it is an exploration in to the deepest parts of yourself.
CURRICULUM
YES Yoga Teacher Training includes these areas of study:
Hatha, Vinyasa & Restorative styles of asana (physical poses & approach)
Meditation and pranayama (breath techniques)
Yoga Philosophy & History
Principles of Ayurveda
Anatomy, Alignment & modifying practice for injuries and body issues
Trauma informed approach to yoga
Accessible yoga for all body types
Practice teaching & sequencing for various levels of experience, and for specific benefits
Teaching Private Yoga & Business of Yoga (we offer tools that other TT's often miss when working with clients one-on one!)
Using YES Yoga as a framework of study, students first learn to explore their own relationship with yoga. Our strength as a teacher relies heavily on our own unique and authentic experiences. So we’ll take a considerate amount of time diving in to the history, philosophy and science of yoga. This deep study will guide our approach to the asana (postures) and meditation practice. Through active practice and a diverse range of skill sets, we’ll explore the beauty of teaching. Students map sequencing and theming classes which can be applied to your home practice, private instruction or group classes.

Offering with Intention
Experience a Light Wheels Meditation Reiki symbols, including
overview of the 3 level 2 symbols
In–person Practice Session with
Symbols
Day Two:
Practicing long distance healing and personal healing
(past moment/held in the body)
Exploration of the chakra system
Overview of pendulums and how they can be used to find balance or
blocks in the chakras
The Business Side of Reiki
- Working with Clients

You will receive:

This training is open to all who have completed a level one Reiki training. If you have not completed this training with Heather, that’s okay—please contact Shambhala with a copy of your Reiki 1 certificate prior to signing up.
Training requires two 4.5-hour sessions. You must complete both sessions for certification.
