In this two – hour full practice, we will introduce very basic acupressure points and
how to use these points to enhance the art of self-healing. When the western body
meets the eastern mind, we may be able to understand the natural laws and
universal order just a bit differently and intuitively. Yin Yoga is a beautiful and
complex practice of long, passively held poses. This approach of yoga practice is
deeply nourishing and has myriad benefits for any yoga practitioner. Yin yoga
targets entirely different parts of the body, and it marries meditation and asana into
a very deep practice.

This workshop is for anyone who wants to learn more about these life changing spiritual practices. You are spirit in a physical body. Awakening to this truth is life changing.

In this workshop we will go over several different meditation techniques and pranayama exercises. From there we will discuss how you can combine them to create your own personal practice.
We will cover the following breathing techniques.
*Ujjayi- or fire breathing!
*Nadi Shodhana- or alternate nostril breathing
*Kapalabhati the steam engine!
Chakra Alignment Breathing.
We will go over each one of the seven chakras and the specific breath work you can use to help activate them!
We will cover the following meditation techniques.
*the 100 step technique.
We will also discuss several seated and lying down positions for meditation.
