“Sadhana is where you sit, dwell in the thoughts and words of the soul, and peel away all your non-reality with the vastness of your spirit.” – Yogi Bhajan
Sadhana is an intentional daily practice. “It is a conscious activity. We consciously choose to rise up, to exercise the body and to meditate. Each day is different. Motivation waxes and wanes. But through all the flux of life, through all the variations of the mind and heart, we consciously choose to maintain a constant and regular practice.”
Join us once a month at this powerful time of morning to connect with your spirit in Aquarian Sadhana. This is an early morning practice to cleanse your mind, uplift your spirit, and set your energy for the day.
- Reciting scripture: Japji (morning prayer) – 25 minutes,
- Kundalini Yoga – 30-35 minutes
- Chanting (mantra meditation) – 62 minutes
This same practice is done by Kundalini Yoga communities around the world. It was originally given to us in 1992 by Yogi Bhajan as a way to show up as our best self and connect through group consciousness. It is a practice to cultivate the intuition, stamina (both physical and mental), self-awareness, and depth of spiritual experience needed to withstand the pressures of time, information overload and change in our world.
Everyone is welcome – no previous experience required. Handouts with Japji and all mantras will be provided.
