Abhyāsa Posture Clinic: Standing Postures & Warrior Variations
May 31, 2026 - May 31, 2026

Abhyāsa Posture Clinic: Standing Postures & Warrior Variations

Sunday, May 31 Ā· 12:30–2:30 PM

True Love Yoga

This quarter’s Abhyāsa Posture Clinic is dedicated to the standing postures—with a special focus on the Warrior shapes and their many iterations.

Together, we’ll slow things down and explore the foundations of these powerful poses, including Warrior I, II, and III, along with variations, transitions, and common adaptations. We’ll look at how these shapes are often taught, how they can be refined, and how they can be adjusted to better support different bodies and intentions.

In this 2-hour workshop, you can expect:

  • Clear breakdowns of alignment, setup, and transitions

  • Exploration of classical vs adaptive alignment

  • Strength, stability, and balance work within standing shapes

  • Variations, progressions, and modifications

  • Time to practice, ask questions, and receive hands-on support

This clinic is ideal for Abhyāsa students, yoga teachers, and anyone looking to deepen their understanding of standing postures through repetition, curiosity, and refinement.

Open to all levels

Free for 200hr + 300hr YTT students

Come ready to learn, explore, and build confidence in the postures you return to again and again.

Lila: Full Practice - Open & Express
Jun 7, 2026 - Jun 7, 2026

Sunday, June 7 Ā· 12:30–2:00 PM

True Love Yoga

This month’s LÄ«lā practice centers on Vishuddha, the Throat Chakra—the space of truth, expression, and authentic voice. As we move into early summer, we’re invited to open not just the body, but the channels through which we speak, share, and connect.

Through a dynamic, breath-led vinyasa practice, we’ll explore the relationship between heart opening and self-expression—how what we feel and what we say are deeply connected. Our peak posture, Urdhva Dhanurasana (Wheel Pose), offers a powerful opportunity to expand the front body, energize the nervous system, and access both courage and vulnerability.

This is an intermediate-level practice, with thoughtful progressions and options offered throughout to support both depth and accessibility.

This practice includes:

  • Shoulder, chest, and spine preparation for deeper backbending

  • Breathwork to support openness and steady energy

  • Exploration of voice, sound, or subtle mantra

  • Guided journaling and a closing meditation to integrate

Come ready to open, to listen, and to express—on your mat and beyond.

Bring a journal and anything that helps you feel supported
