This workshop focuses on the Earth element. This element is embodied in the Late Summer season approaching fall. This is a transitional force that governs our ability to connect deeply, feel deep nourishment and express empathy. We start with a grounding meditation and journal prompts. From there we will transition into gentle stretches to awaken our meridians before the practice of awakening and strengthening the qi of our Stomach and Spleen. We will finish with a lecture and I will offer insight into the emotional, physical and wellness practices that can support deeper enrichment and understanding.
It is very common to experience temperature fluctuations during qi gong. Please wear comfortable clothing and layers, eat something light before and pack snacks for after. Bring your notepad for journal prompts and lecture notes.

Yoga Teacher’s Renewal: Exploring the Back Lines
Open to yoga teachers and YTT students
Take time to reconnect, restore, and renew in this special 2-hour
practice created just for yoga teachers. This month’s session will
focus on the Back Lines of the myofascial system — the fascial
pathways that run from the soles of the feet up the back body to
the crown of the head. These lines support posture, movement
efficiency, and the ability to stand tall with strength and
ease.
Through a thoughtful combination of myofascial release, breathwork,
vinyasa flow, and restorative integration, we’ll explore how the
back lines influence stability, mobility, and energetic lift. This
practice is an opportunity to step out of the teacher role, return
to your own mat as a student, and receive nourishment for body and
spirit.
What to Expect:
*Guided myofascial release techniques to soften and hydrate the
back lines (feet, hamstrings, spinal erectors, suboccipitals)
*A flow sequence designed to balance effort and ease while strengthening the back body
*Restorative postures and body scan to integrate the work.
*Space to connect and share with fellow teachers in community
