200hr Yoga Essence Virtual Teacher Training
Learn to become a Certified Vinyasa for All Levels Yoga Teacher with our Yoga Alliance approved training. In our virtual training, you will be able to learn within a structured yet flexible virtual environment that encourages a deep commitment to yourself. Sunday March 14th 8am at Yoga Essence of Dunellen. Suchitra will be accepting donations to assist with the operations of Yoga Essence during this pandemic.
Join Suchi as she invites you to this wonderful practice in the heartwarming ambience of Yoga Essence of Dunellen. You are also welcome to join from the comfort of your home if you cannot attend in person.
Yoga Nidra is a practice of yogic sleep guiding you through pancha-maya-kosha into a state of consciousness, visualization and expanded awareness. It induces deep relaxation and healing. Associated with pratyahara and dharana, it helps you slip into a meditative state.
We will start our practice with intro, pranayama, a short warm flow into stretching, followed by a guided Yoga Nidra, and a ten-minute meditation. Yogic sleep helps the nervous system to reset, encourage Delta and Theta brain waves, and is known to promote cellular healing.
Yoga Nidra experience can be improved using these props (totally optional), and can also be practiced at home on the carpet or on your bed.
- A Yoga mat, blanket over the yoga mat, rolled towel or blanket width-wise at mid-torso, small blanket or soft pillow for under the head, extra blanket/sheet to cover up with, and a small bolster under the knees.
- Eye pillow or a small face towel to cover your eyes.
- A journal and a pen.
- Comfortable clothing & socks to keep you cozy through laying down relaxation.

Find a room where you can be alone and undisturbed. Set out 90 minutes that no one disturbs you. Let your family know so that you are not interrupted. You are encouraged to put your phones on silent. Let this time be just for you.
Join Yuka for an afternoon of fun at Yoga Essence of New Providence.
Let’s celebrate Easter and Springtime by doing fun yoga poses,
meditation and reading a bunny yoga story! This 1 hour class is
great for age 4(pre-k) to 9 years old. Participants will start off
learning mindful listening skills, and read a bunny yoga story
after reviewing yoga poses. PLUS, we will do an egg hunt in the
studio too. The kids will learn breathing exercises and final
relaxation/visualization at the end of the class. The BEST
fun-filled kids activities for Easter!
Just us as nature enters a cycle of renewal, growth and revival in Spring, so does the energy within us. Through this 1 hour mindful Yin session, embrace the opportunity to shed old unwanted layers and make a conscious choice to welcome in new energy and begin again.
