
Are you ready to lighten up this spring? Are you ready to take your practice to a deeper level and learn the basics of arm balance postures? This workshop will show you how to approach arm balance with safety, greater mindfulness and ease, verses relying on an unsafe and forceful approach.
This workshop is designed for practitioners who have at least 9 months of consistent practice to set the foundation. In this workshop, we will start off with a brief 15-20 min discussion of body machenics of shoulders, wrists and core, then followed by a multi-level practice to warm the body, and dive deep into the break down of the arm balance poses.

Let's take a journey together as we read and discuss the book Living Your Yoga by Judith Lasater. Be prepared to stretch the meaning of yoga beyond breathing and poses and into all facets of your daily living. This is such an excellent opportunity to not only deepen your study of yoga but also build a closer community and relationships within our Zen Hot Yoga studio. Come dressed comfortably and ready to dive into the text, exploring insights, questions and perspectives.
