If you want to relax and feel better plan to make some time for you at Yogashala. The sessions will bring you new vitality, strength and calmness. I have thoroughly enjoyed the staff support, atmosphere and professionalism of this establishment. I will be signing up for more sessions and making Yoga a part of my life.
I am a Yoga instructor and Reiki Master. My journey began in 2013 when I was looking for alternative methods for dealing with anxiety - on a whim, I decided to look up yoga videos online. I remember falling in love with child's pose, cat/cow and reclined butterfly...I was able to take “back the reins” in my life and the rest is history. From videos online to in studio classes, I knew right away that yoga was an important part of my journey. I completed my yoga teacher training in Waterdown where I learned the true meaning of self love. I bring love into everything I do; when I'm not teaching yoga, I am working with seniors, practicing Reiki and being a DogMom to Ellie. Love is a part of life that should never be neglected - love for others, love for what you do and most importantly, love for yourself. I am passionate about my work with seniors... So much so that I am often found singing oldies like Doris Day or Guy Lombardo even at home. My favorite song is “que sera sera” (whatever will be, will be). When it comes to my classes, I connect to the person who had the biggest influence in my life; my mom. My classes will allow you to be feel important, calm and centred. My mom always had that affect on me and I strive to be that voice for others. Many of the topics I talk about in class are inspired by her wise words.
