Im doing the monday 4:30 class with Irena for over an hour. This is a beginning class of this style. I have been doing yoga for years, pretty much a rogue over many styles and dedications. The Iyengar is a different study for yoga, slower, however very strenuous, going into poses for longer times, and adjusting your stance by a variety of instructor tweaks to your body. This is a great study for yoga, no matter what your level of study is, this style brings a new reality of stretching to your practice. I highly recommend checking out the Lyengar Yoga practices. cheers, mic

Wonderful class! Instruction was precise, instructor was very helpful and delivered individual customized instruction. Challenging and informative. Although it is 45 minutes from my house on a slow traffic day, I will be back!

This "medicine" -- the alignment, stretching, and strengthening with slow postures allowing deep breathing and integrating/muscle memorizing is just what I learned from medical school and personal experience that every body needs to maintain our best well-being. I have been practicing here since January with Tricia and Peentz. They are both wonderful and have a thorough knowledge of Iyengar yoga. Classes are just the right size so that each student gets an appropriate amount of individual attention. And Tricia and Peentz really know their students and adapt poses depending on a person's unique physical situation. I always leave class feeling better than when I went in (physically and mentally).

I am so grateful for Tricia and her Iyengar studio. I suffered with pain in my left shoulder for 10 years and had accepted it as part of my life. Tricia is a Teacher with deep knowledge and sincere caring who helped me eliminate pain and makes me feel more energetic and renewed and plain happy. I am a 73 years old grandmother. Namaste.
