Off season training – 12-Week Player Development Program
At DBT, we believe that championship players are built in the off-season. Our 12-Week Player Development Program is designed to prepare athletes ages 11U–13U with the strength, skills, and baseball IQ needed to dominate on the field when the season begins.

Over the course of 12 weeks, players will train four times per week, focusing on every key area of the game:

Strength & Conditioning (S&C): Build explosive power, speed, agility, and endurance with age-appropriate training designed to increase overall athleticism and reduce injury risk.

Pitching & Catching: Develop proper mechanics, arm care routines, and advanced fundamentals. Pitchers work on velocity, control, and game situations, while catchers refine receiving, blocking, transfers, and leadership behind the plate.

Hitting: Improve swing mechanics, timing, and approach at the plate through structured drills, velocity training, and live at-bats. Players will learn situational hitting and build confidence under pressure.

Position Fundamentals: Infielders and outfielders sharpen defensive skills, footwork, throwing accuracy, and game awareness. Emphasis is placed on communication, decision-making, and team defense.

The off-season is where champions are built. Our 16-Week Off-Season Training Program is designed specifically for high school baseball players to get stronger, faster, and more prepared for the upcoming season. Training takes place three times per week with a balance of strength work, skill development, and baseball-specific training.
What Players Can Expect

Strength & Conditioning:
Build explosive power, speed, and endurance with a progressive strength program designed for baseball athletes. Focus on compound lifts, mobility, and injury prevention. -
Speed & Agility:
Improve acceleration, sprint mechanics, and first-step quickness. Learn base running techniques that translate directly to game speed. -
Hitting Development:
Sharpen swing mechanics, improve timing and approach, and face live pitching to build confidence at the plate. Situational hitting and advanced drills prepare players for real-game challenges. -
Pitching & Throwing:
Arm care, long toss progression, bullpens, and game-sequence training. Pitchers develop velocity, command, and stamina while learning to attack hitters. -
Defensive Fundamentals:
Infield and outfield skill work, footwork drills, double plays, cutoffs, and full defensive reps with team communication. -
Baseball IQ & Mental Training:
Game awareness, approach routines, and situational decision-making built into every session.
