This is a great opportunity to train with the KUGB’s best competitors in Northern Ireland and to improve your Kata & Kumite skills.
Members from the Squads will be selected to represent the KUGB at International and other events.
Squad Members must have their Instructor’s permission to attend and MUST have a valid KUGB licence.
You MUST let your Squad Coach know if you can not attend. You will be expected to compete in ALL National and Regional competitions.

In honor of International Women’s Day (IWD), the KUGB is proud
to celebrate our female members by offering a special course led by
some of our Senior Female Sensei. This event is open to
ALL
KUGB members, providing a fantastic opportunity to
learn from and be inspired by some of the outstanding women in our
organisation.
IWD, observed annually, is a global celebration that recognises the
achievements and contributions of women. It is also a day to
reflect on the progress made toward gender equality and to renew
our collective commitment to advancing equity.
Lilleshall National Sports & Conferencing Centre is located
just north of Telford close to the A41 approximately 3 miles from
the town of Newport. The main entrance gates to the centre are
situated on Pave Lane, which can be accessed from the north via the
A518 and from the south via the A41. In both cases please follow
the signposts for “National Sports Centre”.

Train with the Champions was formed by a group of dedicated long-standing karateka in order to provide annual courses for all ages and abilities. Our Courses offer a variety of Classes each day in accordance with your grade and experience. Classes are divided into groups with different levels for beginners, intermediate and advanced students.
Our Instructors are all former KUGB International Competitors and fully qualified Instructors, passing on their vast wealth of knowledge and experience.
They are all Champions.
They will work with you to improve your technique and increase your
knowledge of Shotokan Karate, making you fitter and more confident
in your future training.
