I’ve taken a few classes and workshops at SoulSpace and absolutely love it there! However, this virtual 30 day opportunity to meditate and strengthen my core thru planking has been a life-changer. 21 days in I can tell you my core is stronger and I can hold a plank for 65seconds! Thanks Yvette and Sue for helping me do something this 58yo never thought possible.

I meditate because it allows me to put down my to-do lists and be fully present. With consistent practice, I learned how to create space between me and my thoughts. I began to witness my life as an observer, and with that I cultivated a practice of compassion and empathy for myself and for others. I noticed over time that the little things that used to bother me don't bother me anymore because meditation has given me freedom and space from reaction. I am able to surrender to the present moment without defining myself by my past mistakes or living in fear of what may happen in the future. Meditation is a powerful tool, and I believe that everyone can find gratitude and freedom and grace in the face of challenge through practice.
