Anne’s Monday beginner class is amazing. Her cues are easy to follow and she gives a good variety of options so I was able to modify poses to suit my body.

Karen
Karen began taking yoga classes to balance stiffness created by running and quickly came to love the calming effects of yoga on mind and body. In 2008, she completed her 200-hour RYT training with Robin Anderson to deepen her practice. After that initial training, she attended workshops and classes with a wide variety of teachers. Karen completed 100 hours of training with YogHOPE in 2013 and became certified to teach Yin Yoga with Boston teacher Josh Summers in March 2014. Most recently, she completed Barbara Benagh's 500-hour In-Depth Studies and the Art of Teaching Yoga in July at Down Under Yoga. Karen began taking classes with Kristin Olson in 2012 and is grateful to Kristin and Barbara for advancing her teaching and practice.

Karen aims to marry a little bit of these styles in slow flow, alignment-based classes sequenced to create more space and ease in the body. Off the mat, Karen's practice extends to life with her husband, two daughters and her bichon-poo Kali (goddess of destruction). She credits the physical benefits of yoga in helping her run the Lowell 2014 half marathon.
