I have been a member of this amazing studio since 2016. I love all of it, it is more than just a studio but so much more. Sigrid becomes a mentor to everyone that walks in the door. Her teaching and inspiration is the reason why she has such great instructors and the studio is what it is. I love the heated classes, however the easy and slow flow classes have taught me patience, breathwork, and proper form to grow my individual practice. I never imagined that my practice would improve this much since I started. I am also so grateful for my yogi friendships acquired through out this journey. So blessed to be a part of Transitions Yoga.
Jen Turnbow wrote her first “book” when she was about 5 years old. She used to sit at her desk (an old coffee table) and mimic her grandmother’s writings. Her grandma was a prolific writer, using nature, their farm, her family and religion as her muses. In late 2021, Jen began her blog To the Mailbox, where she began to publicly share her own writing and muses, while also celebrating her grandma’s life.
She has spent much of her life processing her emotions and healing through writing. Jen uses her life experiences and tough seasons to guide others to find their voice. For the past three years, she has been on spiritual and health journey, which led her to receiving her RYT 200 yoga certification from Transitions Yoga.
Jen has a master’s degree in industrial/organizational psychology from Grand Canyon University. She lives in Bismarck with her husband, Bryan; their son, Truman; and their dog, Sig.
