David has been avidly practicing Iyengar yoga since 1998 and
has completed the Intermediate Junior 3 Iyengar Yoga Certification.
David’s enthusiasm spills over into his teaching which has been
described as both challenging and light-hearted. An early career as
a dancer taught him rhythm, body mechanics and the outward
appearance of line and form. Iyengar yoga has expanded his
knowledge of human anatomy and brought him a deeper understanding
of the use of muscles and alignment of bones. Beyond the physical
David enjoys the improved clarity and focus and the sense of well
being that come from a strong and regular yoga practice.
