Cheryl is a mother, a wife and nurse practitioner who teaches with a joyful, compassionate and grounding presence through connection with the breath. She is committed to creating powerful, fearless people through the practice of yoga. She loves teaching, practicing and educating herself about yoga, anatomy and philosophy. She is inspired by the healing power of a breath centered practice. When Cheryl is not teaching yoga, she is working, playing chauffeur or spending time with her family. She has a passion for rock climbing and loves mountains and streams. Cheryl began her training by completing a 60 hour teacher training through the NWA Teacher Training program at Soul Yoga. She has participated in the workshops, The Art of Yoga Assists with Karl Straub, Learning to Teach from Namaste with Teri Honeysuckle and The Art of Vinyasa with Seane Corn She has also completed a 20 hour training with Yoga Ananda Yoga Shalas Good To Great Program with Maria Merrill and she is an RYT 200 in vinyasa through Yoga Gypsy.
