Victoria is a servant leader who has worked in the behavioral health and healthcare space for over 25 years. She has worked in a Senior Leadership role for many years and has supported and reported to C level individuals for over 20 years. She has a keen understanding of the pressures leaders face in managing their work and their employees, in addition to managing their everyday lives. She is a highly skilled communicator, critical thinker and someone who engages with warm, empathic regard for those she works with. She listens to hear, not to respond. Victoria currently serves as the Wellness at Work Ambassador at her Health System and is a key stakeholder and clinical advisor to behavioral health and employee well-being efforts.Victoria lost her father to covid in December of 2020 and it was this crisis that led her to delve more fully into yoga and consistent practice. Yoga was her saving grace in such a difficult, dark time when the world was basically shut down and the normal mechanisms of coping and self care were not available. The healing that yoga offered to Victoria led her to pursue her 200 hour YTT (Yoga Teacher Training) at the age of 50. In addition to her yoga studies, Victoria is a Master’s level licensed professional counselor who has gained additional training and education in mindfulness, trauma and various mental health modalities. She has also earned a specialized certification in teaching yoga for individuals with or in recovery of a cancer diagnosis.Victoria's favorite yoga pose is pigeon pose. She likes this pose because it is both challenging and allows for stored emotions to be released.Victoria decided that ‘when she grows up’ she wants to do the work she loves the most: working with individuals to reach a higher potential and helping people learn the power of yoga & self discovery to heal, strengthen and grow. She has been described by her friends, colleagues and family members as a soft place to fall. Victoria offers workshops that focus on mental health, stress management and self discovery. In her spare time, you can find Victoria thrifting, on the rail at a concert, spending time in nature, engaging in creative arts and exploring new people and things.
