It was my very first yoga class ever! And I really appreciate it.
The Instructor was not only very welcoming but very attentive and making sure that everyone was understanding the posture.
It was a soft atmosphere but also a very intense class. You can feel all your body shaking during the posture! At least that was my experience. ;-) I'll come back very soon.
Skye founded Heal One World in 2009 after her own experiences with disability and the relief she found from non-invasive therapies. She has studied Feldenkrais, Craniosacral Therapy, Visceral Manipulation, Lymphatic Drainage, Zero Balancing, Process Acupuncture, Yoga Therapy, Reiki and Somato Emotional Release. She gives treatments at HOW, Venice Family Clinic and Healthcare for the Homeless. She is a Certified Massage Practioner and Holistc Health Practitioner. She teaches Tai Chi at various Senior homes around the area. She holds a Master's Degree with further studies in Organization Development at UCLA.
Skye is also a Plastic Pollutions and animal rights activist and filmmaker, writer and producer of Plastic Tide which played Sundance, Cannes, Maui Film Festival and SF Ocean Film Festival among many. She is also a Padi Divemaster with a passion for conservation and is the director of the Awareness Film Festival which she started in 2010 and Zen Den started in 2013. She is currently working on feature length projects for both documentary and narrative awareness based films. She resides in Maui and Los Angeles.
