Kellie began practicing yoga to
regain clarity in life and restore her health after 13 years of the
hustle and grind of the corporate world. It was yoga that sparked
the fire of transformation within, and she completed her first
teacher training as a desire to deepen her practice. As a result,
it is now Kellie's passion to teach and share the gift of yoga with
others. Her classes offer beginners and seasoned yogis alike the
space for self-discovery and encouragement to grow the mind, body,
and spirit.
As a certified RYT 200, Kellie has
extensive wellness background as a certified to teach a variety of
yoga formats, including Power Yoga, Vinyasa, Yin Yoga, Restorative
Yoga, Yoga/Pilates Fusion, and Yoga Sculpt. In addition to this,
Kellie is experienced in facilitating guided meditation and loves
Yoga Nidra.
Her expertise lies in teaching
others to conquer their inner chaos and boldly step into the
healthiest, most fulfilled version of themselves. Outside of the
studio, Kellie serves on the board of directors for Small World
Yoga, a local nonprofit that provides yoga outreach to underserved
populations in Middle Tennessee. In addition to her board work,
Kellie has also chaired the annual Music City Yoga Festival, one of
the highest-attended wellness events in the Southeast.
As quoted by B.K.S. Iyengar, of
the most prolific yoga masters of our time, “Confidence,
clarity, and compassion are essential qualities of a
teacher.” This affirmation is what Kellie aspires to
achieve in every class she teaches.
