My first yoga class back with actual real yogis to connect with was so lovely at the Norwalk Green under beautiful trees with rustling leaves. I highly recommend yoga 203 because they have a range of in person and online classes to take! It was great for me to get off behind my screen and to connect in real life at my first in person class with yoga 203. And being outside helped a lot and I loved having that option!
In 2010 Katherina began yoga as a way to change up her exercise regiment but realized she wasn't coming back for the work out but for the work in. The safe space of the yoga studio allowed her to move effortlessly, without judgement, to clear her mind and express herself non-verbally. The more she dived into yoga; it’s readings of history, therapeutic properties and energy work the more her attitude towards others and herself began to transform.
In the summer of 2014 she recieved her RYT 200 certification from Charm City Yoga under the teachings of Kim Manfredi and Camille Moses-Allen. By 2016 her yoga career had flourished and she said goodbye to her full-time job and worked soley teaching yoga. Through offering classes, private lessons, corprate yoga, workshops and more she believes she has learned to understand that yoga is not a one way fits all kind of thing. With her self gained knowledge she knew she was ready to take the next step and so in 2018 she completed another 300 hours of training from Yogaworks under the mentorship of Jessica Crowley-Ambrose. Her vast expereince allows her to offer a practice that is not only physically challenging, but corrective to our bodies from the labor they endure. She speaks of challenging the mind to let go of its’ ego, to find our most honest selves and through that personal truth, finding our happiness. She truly believes yoga is a gift to ourselves and that everyone and every body will find something to treasure when they open their heart to the practice of yoga.
