I have attended several classes with three different instructors and each was completely wonderful! I highly suggest attending a class; any class!
My yoga journey began in 2012 after a co-worker of mine forcefully but lovingly suggested that I come to class with her. We were 911 Dispatchers together and she knew that yoga would help with my hip pain from my recent child being born but also help with the emotional strain I was experiencing from my work and my past. Having survived domestic abuse and then working in 911 you could say I was desperately in need of healing. After my first class, it was clear there was no turning back. Finally something was powerful enough to quiet the chaos in my head. Shortly after my husband was lured in as well and fell in love with yoga as quickly as I did. In September of 2014 the dream of Vivify was born and in March of 2015 Vivify Hot Yoga opened its doors to the public. At the time we were not yet instructors. We wanted to have a studio that opened from what a “student wants and needs” perspective. We attended classes like all the other students at Vivify and we both went to separate teacher training's. I have actively been teaching now since 2015. My passion is connecting with the community. Both the yoga community we've built and the local community that I am proud to be apart of. Myself and my studio has been and continues to be heavily involved with numerous charities and projects since we've opened from working with domestic violence victims, recovering addicts, to taking care of our local first responders and victims of critical incidents. My heart calls to helping others and I am beyond honored to be able to do that through sharing my yoga practice with others.
