Took the Vinyasa Yoga class. A good mix of workout and stretching, perfect for what I wanted. I plan to join the gym and attend at least bi-weekly!
Steffanie began teaching health and wellness in 1992. She has a BA from BYU in Humanities with a minor in English.
She grew up all over the world and loves to travel. She lives in Saratoga Spring, Utah with her husband, Tony. They have 4 kids, all of whom practice or teach yoga.
She trained with Dharma Mittra, Srivatsa Ramaswami, and so many others who have inspired her. If you're into certifications here goes: Yoga Alliance ERYT-500, ACE certified for over 25 years, Pilates, Spin, Kickboxing Step and other various forms of fitness. She is the creator of the award-winning SoleDance (formerly YogaDance), and spent her younger years dancing professionally. She worked in Public Relations from 2011-2015 in Manhattan, NY. She also worked and managed fitness programs for the Bay Club (formerly ClubSport), and the Newtown Athletic Club. She taught at Nike and the Courthouse Athletic Club.
Steffanie has trained hundreds of teachers, focussing on relevant content, class formatting and effective teaching strategies. She often presents at conferences and women's groups.She also does personal training and semi-private lessons.
Her classes are heavy on meaningful fun, light on pomp.
