I thought a MELT class might be “interesting,” so I tried it. I was so surprised that not only was my body so much better aligned after the class. But three days later when I attended a regular yoga class, I could hardly believe how much easier it was to do each pose. WOW! This class is fun, the teacher is gentle and caring and the long term effects are AMAZING! I'll be back!!!
Alyssa received her Yoga Alliance RYT-500 certification from Western Yoga College under the direction of Scott Miller and is currently studying with the Shraddhaa School of Yoga. She initially discovered yoga through her lifelong love of ballet.
She began dancing at age 4 and progressed through intensive training programs to become a professional ballet dancer and later a teacher to students of all ages. Along the way she fell in love with yoga, which became a great form of cross-training and helped Alyssa to heal her mind and body and also develop her own sense of spirituality.
