Excellent Take Flight workshop this afternoon with David, really enjoyed it. Took us through a series of warm-ups concentrating on wrists, shoulders, ribs and hips - there’s a song there - before moving on to various ways of getting in to crow and side crow. Some really ‘nasty’ leg lifts followed on to headstands, handstands and variations giving us the confidence to have a go using props if necessary. Hopefully this workshop will run again and I’ll definitely sign-up
Having studied Vinyasa flow and Hatha Yoga with Yoga Alliance
in the beautiful setting of Bali and the fun and liberating Aerial
Yoga with the Chakra Aerial Yoga school in Carlisle, Pauline loves
to teach a flowing, challenging class with focus on breathing and
alignment which is suitable for everyone.
Originally qualifying as a personal trainer in 2003 through
Premier International she started practicing Yoga soon after. Her
career has taken her to many varied places including teaching for
almost 3 years in the Middle East. First drawn to Yoga to
compliment the other forms of exercise she taught Pauline soon fell
in love with Yoga and decided she wanted it to become her main
focus.
Pauline loves seeing people who come to her classes gradually
de-stress and find balance not only in their bodies but also in
their lives. Taking the calm time spent on the mat with them to
create a calm approach to work and life in general.
