Excellent Take Flight workshop this afternoon with David, really enjoyed it. Took us through a series of warm-ups concentrating on wrists, shoulders, ribs and hips - there’s a song there - before moving on to various ways of getting in to crow and side crow. Some really ‘nasty’ leg lifts followed on to headstands, handstands and variations giving us the confidence to have a go using props if necessary. Hopefully this workshop will run again and I’ll definitely sign-up
Allison trained with British Wheel and Yoga London and she is continually developing her teaching through advanced training, workshops and regular daily practice.
Her desire to teach yoga comes from her own experience of how yoga has benefited her life. She believes that developing a healthy relationship with ourselves is fundamental to a healthy life, in the mind, body and spirit! Yoga, she believes, can help to enhance our experience of life by bringing us closer to our true selves. When we truly know ourselves we can begin to free ourselves from our conditioning, learn to meet our needs and begin to flourish, grow and self-actualise.
