Yoga was a happy accident for Lori. A lifelong runner wanting to add some strength training into her routine, she stumbled into a Strength and Sweat yoga class and she was hooked. Power yoga definitely met her desire for strength training but provided so much more as she discovered how the yogic mind-body-breath-spirit connection opened a whole new way of being. Lori finds that the physicality of power yoga, grounded in the presence of intentional breath, facilitates a mindfulness that has positively impacted all aspects of her life. After three and a half years of almost daily practice, Lori deepened her practice by completing the 200 Hour yoga training at Everyone Yoga School under the tutelage of Mandy Eubanks, Megan Spears, Jeanne Doss and Melissa Smith. She is registered with the Yoga Alliance, RYT200. Lori believes yoga is for everyone and works to create a safe and welcoming space for all, while helping students explore their own personal edges.
