WHAT DO YOU BELIEVE IN?  I believe in the power of practice.  I believe in the limitless potential of the individual.  I believe that yoga is many things and at least one of those things is for you.WHY DO YOU PRACTICE?  Yoga is my grounding force.  The practice centers me: mind, body and soul. For me, yoga means sanity.  It’s the consistent practice of quieting the noise; that which exists both within and all around us.  It’s the practice of uncovering life’s gifts when we stop trying to be what we are not and learn to see what is. Learning to navigate our bodies with care and compassion provides a roadmap for our relationship with this world.  It is a powerful tool for greater understanding which transcends far beyond the mat.  CJ Lamborn E-RYT500/RCYP/YTU/FRC (she/hers) has been practicing since 1999.  She got her initial 200hr with Laura Mullin and Tara Clay at Yoga Sol in 2010 and completed her 500hr with Jason Crandell in SF in 2019.  She received her Level III Aerial Yoga certification in 2015 with Pik Chu Wong in the TYS style as well as earning certifications in Mat Pilates (2004), Kids-Teen Yoga (2012), Yoga Tune Up (2019), and most recently FRC (2021).WHY DO YOU TEACH?  I lead classes to inspire self-care and enjoyment of life's little moments. My goal in every class is to empower students to let go of expectations and learn how to move with presence in their bodies, taking it all in one breath at a time.  Life offers enough stressors, your yoga shouldn’t.  I aim to show how yoga can help you deal with daily life.  Asana practice not only cultivates the body's strength and flexibility but offers some of the best training on how to remain calm under effort.
