Lisa has been practicing yoga since the age of 16. Her
experience has taught her self-expression and has given her the
tools to grow as a woman in her day-to-day life. Having suffered
with anxiety/depression, yoga has been her guide to finding
herself. It has also helped her develop the skills needed to cope
and become stronger as a person.
Lisa was intrigued to become a yoga teacher because she has always
found joy in providing a safe space for others, and as a result,
became certified as a 200-hour yoga instructor. To achieve her
goal, she has taken many workshops and courses within Winnipeg and
the United States. Lisa loves the classes offered through Serene
Yoga, as they truly resonate with her belief in the importance of
being a part of a supportive community. She strives to guide people
to become kinder to themselves in every area of their lives, and to
help them find their own path to inner growth.
