About the Class

The 75-minute Hybrid Class is one-part High Intensity Sprint Interval and one-part Lagree Fitness training on the Megaformer.  There is a 5-min transition inbetween spin and Lagree.  The spin interval training cycling class is based on perceived rate of exertion and RPMs (revolutions per minute). The class will challenge your heart, lungs, muscles, and mind with intense intervals, followed by recovery periods. This type of training helps you burn calories faster and become more resistant to fatigue.  The spin portion of class is 30 minutes long and the Lagree Method portion of class is a full 45-minutes class performed on the Megaformer (M3). A high-intensity, low-impact option, this method offers a full body workout based on time under tension.  Time under tension refers to the amount of time a muscle is held under tension or strain during an exercise block. Lagree Method workouts focus on executing each phase of the movement on the Megaformer as slow as possible, working the muscles to fatigue.  The Megaformer has a spring-loaded carriage that moves in-between 2 stationary platforms creating different levels of intensity during the workout.  This method forced the muscles to work harder, longer.  This counts as one class credit.  This counts as one class credit.  Members can sign up for the Hybrid or the full Lagree.  To sign up for the Hybrid, Members only need to sign up for Hybrid as there is an automatic spot in the Lagree class.  For those that don’t want the spin portion, simply sign up for full Lagree.  

Special Instructions

We are excited about your Hybrid class today.  Bring a water bottle, grip socks for Lagree and shoes for cycling and get ready for a great workout!  The standard pedals on the Stages will fit SPD cleats as well as all common fitness shoes.  We sell grips socks in the studio if you need them. To sign up for the Hybrid, Members only need to sign up for Hybrid as there is an automatic spot in the Lagree class.  For those that don’t want the spin portion, simply sign up for full Lagree. Also, don't forget about our cancellation policy! DriveTrain requires a 8-hour notice of your cancellation via the booking platform, Wellness Living. If you cancel your reservation before 8-hours of the scheduled session, your cancelled session will be credited back to you and will be available for use whenever you are able to reschedule. Unlimited Members who cancel within 8 hours of the scheduled session will be charged a $15.00 late cancellation fee.  Numbered Auto-Pay Members will lose their class. If you fail to cancel and fail to attend any class or session you reserve, all Members will be charged a $15.00 no show fee; and you will lose your class or session. We understand that life happens, it happens to all of us.  Cancellation penalties are automatically assessed through Wellness Living so the best way to avoid a penalty is to book-it and commit!  We deserve self-care for ourselves.
