This is a 50-minute cycling class measured by a combination of perceived rate of exertion (PRE), Revolutions per Minute (RPM) and Torque (or how hard you are pushing the pedals based on resistance). The class will challenge your heart, lungs, muscles, and mind with intense intervals, followed by recovery periods. This type of training helps you burn calories faster and become more resistant to fatigue. This class is for everyone.
We are excited about your Spin Interval class today. Bring a water bottle and shoes and get ready for a great workout! The standard pedals on the Stages SC3, SC2, SC1, and Solo will fit SPD cleats as well as all common fitness shoes. You do not need cycling shoes for class but if you are curious about the benefits of using clip-in shoes, here's the scoop: Clip-in shoes allow the rider to pull the pedal up with the activation of the hamstrings and glutes versus fitness shoes, that by nature of the shoe, requires more engagement from the quadricep muscles. When your foot is placed in the right position on the bike using clip-in shoes, your stability allows you to get the most out of your workout. Also, don't forget about our cancellation policy!
