Lakshmi is always such a welcoming teacher, in the sense of her friendliness, and openness with students.

I am glad that she is continuing to offer in-person Classes, in such difficult times.

Being able to stretch out, and be guided, in a Studio, while also Recovering from a Concussion, is so Valuable.

Thanks again for all you do...!

Yoga in Daily Life in Alexandria, Virginia, the first yoga center in the Del Ray neighborhood, offers classes in yoga and meditation for people of all ages and fitness levels, as well as special programs and workshops on yoga-related subjects.  Class offerings include not only physical exercises (asanas) and breath exercises (pranayama), but also self-inquiry meditation, and deep relaxation (yoga nidra).  Progressive levels of learning and practice guide the student from beginning to advanced levels, so that people of all ages and levels of physical ability can enjoy the profound benefits of this gentle, profound holistic approach.

Being part of an established international system with a self-realized founder means that students can, if they wish, enjoy a wealth of additional resources ranging from free online videos and books to specialized instruction and overseas workshops.  Yoga in Daily Life serving the Alexandria and Washington, DC area, also sponsors humanitarian programs aimed at bettering the local, national, and global community.
