I have known Arlene for over 14 years. She has always been a very kind and gracious soul. Her talents are very special and her commitment to yoga is unwavering. Her studio is absolutely gorgeous... I’d call it a zen nest. I just recently re-commuted to my yoga practice as I am a busy realtor with lots of obligations and high stress. My daughter also studied with Arlene’s tween classes many years ago and still remembers those times with a smile. I’m pretty rusty with yoga ( it will take time to get myself more limber) but am super excited about the gentle restorative classes with aromatherapy because it is a much needed ‘pause” and the class is incredibly transformative. Love this place
Jenni Salomon, RYT200, WPA level 1
Having sustained a number of injuries over the course of a paramedic and fire service career, Jenni retired from direct patient care. She continues to lecture locally and regionally, writes, teaches and currently consults for an emergency services training and administrative agency.
In order to rehabilitate from her job-related injuries, Jenni began practicing yoga. She eventually obtained her 200hr registered yoga teacher certification from Soma Yoga institute and has trained with the Veterans Yoga Project and Yoga For First Responders.
Teaching yoga, specifically restorative, adaptive and to trauma sensitive populations has given Jenni the opportunity to continue to help people which she believes to be part of her dharma.
Jenni competed in her first SUP race in 2016, winning 1st place in her division. She obtained her World Paddle Association instructor certification with internationally acclaimed YogaGirl, Rachel Brathen in Aruba.
In addition to teaching SUP and SUP yoga, Jenni continues to race as an amateur, most recently in a RedBull event in southwest Florida.
Jenni's yoga experience is unique to her life and she believes it can be that way for everyone. She thinks there is a way to incorporate yoga into any lifestyle and for a multitude of different reasons and desired benefits.
