Customer Spotlight: FitnessEnvi

1. Introducing the Business
FitnessEnvi, owned by Jackie Sobel, is a boutique fitness studio that offers primarily class-based programming along with private lessons and special offerings like birthday parties. The studio also runs structured programs such as a Level 1 pole series that lasts six weeks, where clients enroll for the full series and continue in a progressive class.
Jackie is also building a new digital foundation for the business, including a newly launched website that she described as “a super basic website” for now, with plans to add WellnessLiving widgets as the platform setup progresses.
2. Why They Chose WellnessLiving
FitnessEnvi is coming from a patchwork of manual processes rather than a single operating system. Jackie shared that the previous owner “really didn’t have much in the way of a system,” relying on “Google Docs and email,” plus paper 5-class punch cards. With the business continuing to run through the transition, Jackie needed a platform that could help her replace scattered workflows with one place to manage scheduling, client accounts, and sales.
WellnessLiving stood out as the solution Jackie could use to centralize operations and quickly add real structure to a business she’s rebuilding “from the ground up.”
3. What They’re Building
Jackie’s WellnessLiving setup is focused on getting FitnessEnvi operationally organized fast, without losing momentum during the ownership handoff. Key priorities include:
- Client and lead import: About 25 active members (yearly memberships, class passes, and drop-ins) plus “hundreds of email addresses” from open houses and workshops currently stored in Constant Contact.
- Online booking on the website: Jackie is planning to “plug all of the WellnessLiving widgets into” her new site once scheduling and pricing are built out.
- Clear service structure: Ongoing weekly classes will be set up as classes, while the six-week pole series will be set up as an event enrollment.
- Purchase options and payments: Creating memberships and class passes in WellnessLiving, with online and in-person payments coming after the merchant process is completed.
- Team access: Jackie also has a virtual assistant who will support backend work, and WellnessLiving will help by allowing staff profiles and permissions.
4. What Success Looks Like
For Jackie, success means moving FitnessEnvi from manual tracking into a smooth, self-serve client experience where people can book and pay without back-and-forth. Once clients are loaded into the system, she’s excited to send a branded welcome email inviting them to log in, set passwords, and complete key steps like waivers. With training and setup underway, Jackie is preparing for a busy but positive transition.
Over the next 6–12 months, WellnessLiving will help FitnessEnvi establish consistent systems for client onboarding, scheduling, series enrollment, and marketing outreach, giving Jackie the operational confidence to grow beyond the transition period and into the studio’s next chapter.
