Customer Spotlight: Anima Med Spa
Last Updated on 14 April, 2026
A fast-growing med spa building a seamless, client-first booking and treatment experience from day one.
1. Introducing Anima Med Spa
Anima Med Spa is a newly opened med spa offering a wide range of aesthetic and wellness services, with seven treatment rooms and a growing client base of around 70 clients in its first few months.
Led by Sally Tabibi and her team, Anima’s menu spans injectables (Botox and fillers), advanced skincare treatments like microneedling, and beauty services such as lash and brow lamination. They also offer multiple laser-based services, including laser hair removal, tattoo removal, pigment removal, and carbon laser peels, plus weight loss management.
With such a broad mix of services and pricing models, their day-to-day operations require a system that can keep scheduling, client records, and purchase options organized without slowing the team down.
2. Why They Chose WellnessLiving
Before choosing WellnessLiving, Anima Med Spa had experience with several platforms, including Fresha (their most recent system) and earlier tools like Vagaro and Mindbody. What made WellnessLiving stand out was the ability to support the way a modern med spa actually sells and delivers services: a mix of single treatments, packages, memberships, and variable pricing.
For example, Botox isn’t one flat rate, and Anima needed a practical way to handle per-unit pricing. During onboarding, they were excited to learn that WellnessLiving can support variable-rate services, allowing their team to finalize pricing at checkout based on what was actually used.
Just as importantly, Anima is moving quickly. They chose WellnessLiving to help them “move very fast with the new CRM before we get more clients,” building a strong operational foundation early rather than migrating later with hundreds of records to untangle.
3. What They’re Building
Anima Med Spa is setting up WellnessLiving to centralize the workflows that matter most for a med spa team:
Online booking is a priority, including the ability to embed booking directly on their website. As Peggy put it, “Client wants to pay online and have embedded options on the website, too.” While they are still deciding on payment processing, they plan to start with clients booking online and paying in person using their current setup, then expand to online payments later.
They are also structuring services to match real treatment room operations, with a focus on avoiding double-booking for the same treatment type while still allowing some flexibility where appropriate. As Peggy clarified, “People need to be able to book a Botox treatment and a facial on the same appointment, without the possibility of accidentally paying for two treatments.”
Finally, they are building out the revenue model that drives med spa growth: session passes, packages, and memberships, including bundled offerings and flexible package creation when needed for custom pricing conversations.
4. What Success Looks Like
Success for Anima Med Spa starts with a strong, fast launch. Long-term, success means having a system that keeps up as the client list grows:
- online booking embedded on their site
- clean service setup for a complex menu
- client profiles that can hold treatment notes and photos
- purchase options that support everything from a single session to a special event
With WellnessLiving, Anima Med Spa is building the operational backbone they need now, so they can scale without sacrificing organization, clarity, or client experience. Want to get the same for your MediSpa? Book a free, no-commitment demo today!
