Divine Med Spa: Building a Wellness Sanctuary from the Ground Up

Last Updated on 15 September, 2025
Every year, Divya Warble celebrated her birthday with a therapeutic float session, a massage, and some quiet time to reset. Her wellness ritual eventually became monthly… and then weekly. It supported her mental wellbeing and made life feel lighter, something she deeply appreciated as a corporate IT manager and busy mom.
A vision began to take shape. “Something was calling me,” she recalls.
After crunching the numbers and talking it over with her husband, she decided to take a leap of faith, leaving behind a stable nine-to-five to follow her passion. In 2022, Divine Med Spa opened its doors.
Business: Divine Med Spa
Location: Exton, PA
Founded: 2022
Community Served: Families and individuals seeking holistic wellness and self-care in Chester County, PA
Services Offered: Float therapy, infrared sauna, red light therapy, oxygen therapy, cold plunge, facials, massage, Halo therapy, and more
Building Her Dream Business
Divya envisioned more than just a spa. She dreamed of a full-spectrum sanctuary where healing could happen every day, just like it had for her. Not just floats and massage, but infrared sauna, red light therapy, oxygen therapy, cold plunges, facials, and more—all under one roof. A place people could count on for regular rejuvenation. And a space where friends and families felt welcome and supported, because she knew firsthand how powerful those moments of care could be.

“I’m a mom. I was bringing my own kids in for Halo therapy and sauna when they were sick. So, I thought, ‘You know what? Let’s make it family-friendly. Let’s make it couple-friendly. We have a husband-wife membership. We have a kid add-on.” – Divya, Owner
Divine Med Spa was a hit, and 5-star reviews started pouring in. But as the business grew, so did the complexity of managing memberships, staff, appointments, and customer relationships.
A Tech-Savvy Founder Meets a Flexible Platform
Divya didn’t anticipate how challenging business ownership would be: juggling hiring, marketing, HR, and customer care. “Running a business is 20 times harder than anything I did in corporate,” she says. “But it’s also 20 times more meaningful.”
Coming from IT, Divya knew what to look for in a software platform, and she could tell her first platform wasn’t going to scale. Memberships were tracked in spreadsheets. Payments were processed manually. Marketing felt clunky. She started systematically evaluating different scheduling systems… seven of them.
“I made a spreadsheet, listed everything I needed—and WellnessLiving came out on top.”
— Divya
Today, WellnessLiving supports the day-to-day operations at Divine Med Spa, and Divya is free to focus on growth. Since switching in August 2024, Divine Med Spa has:
- Grown recurring revenue through automated memberships. “Before, we were manually charging memberships,” Divya says, “Now with automation, I’ve seen a real uptick in revenue. People even sign up for memberships online while booking a float.”
- Increased word-of-mouth growth with a referral program that rewards both the referrer and the new client
- Improved marketing ROI by segmenting client audiences for targeted SMS and email campaigns
- Strengthened staff professionalism through mobile-friendly SOAP notes and streamlined internal systems
- Decreased front desk busywork through widespread client adoption of Divine Med Spa’s branded app
- Empowered team members to provide exceptional customer service through custom dashboards that drive thoughtful, personal client interactions.
“That personal touch is our thing. Like, how was that first day of school? We make sure we remember things about people, write them down, and bring them up next time. That’s what makes people feel special.” — Divya
Lessons for Other Entrepreneurs
- Start with a problem you care about. Divya built Divine MedSpa based on her own healing journey and her clients feel that sincerity.
- Build a recurring revenue model. “If your business can support memberships, build that structure before you open,” she says.
- Use systems to scale connection. Automation freed Divya’s team to focus on people, not busywork—and clients feel the difference.
- Build from the front desk. Divya ran her own front desk for the first 3 years. That hands-on approach helped her refine systems and train her team for success.
- Design for friends and families. By offering membership options for couples and kids and implementing a referral program, Divine became a beloved community wellness hub.
- Consistent care earns trust. Divine’s high-touch approach and smooth client experience has earned them 270+ five-star reviews on Google, and counting.
- Choose the right platform.
“Choose a platform like WellnessLiving that grows with you. WellnessLiving really gives you what you need.” – Divya
Looking Ahead
Divine Med Spa is already a sanctuary for self-care but Divya has set her sights set on launching a full medical side in the future, including vitamin IV drips and injectables. While navigating licensing, hiring, and compliance is no small feat, she’s taking it one step at a time—and leaning on WellnessLiving to support her every move.
“WellnessLiving is my go-to. The marketing hub, the reports, the automation. I know exactly where to find what I need now. It’s just made everything easier.” – Divya
Divine Med Spa is more than a business, it’s an invitation: to heal, to reconnect, and to prioritize yourself. A space born from Divya’s own self-care journey, built with intention, and powered by love. “The only thing that matters is doing the right thing,” she says. “That’s what drives me every day.”
