Tasha Turnbull, a personal trainer who uses fitDEGREE laid out her frustrations with the software in an online review. “Personal training clients can’t set recurring workouts. When people cancel a class, it doesn’t show up in the class, only in the notifications,” she explains.
“It doesn’t allow me to schedule my small group classes, which start 30 minutes after my first class, so I have to add a fake name so clients can register.”
She was generally disappointed to discover the software was not as well-suited to her personal training business as advertised. “Not personal training friendly as the app stated when I purchased it,” she says. “I’ll be looking for a new product.”
Users Must Clear Cache to Use fitDEGREE’s App
These types of functional issues are a recurring theme for fitDEGREE users. A number of them shared that the app wouldn’t function immediately after launching it.
Instead of getting developers to address the problem, the support team instructed these user to clear their cache just to get the fitDEGREE app to open. When a user complained that the “app doesn’t work. Just gets frozen indefinitely. Can’t use it to register for fitness classes,” fitDEGREE’s team replied with a series of manual cache clearing and rebooting instructions.
