1. Introducing the Business
Led by Pam Brewer and CJ, Brooklyn Meditation offers a guided meditation experience designed to be approachable for all levels. Their model blends in-person, online, and hybrid sessions, plus intro consultations and orientation-style one-on-ones to help newcomers feel grounded before joining faster-paced online classes. As Pam shared, Brooklyn Meditation is built around “structured guidance as people work through the course in their own self-paced way,” with an emphasis on supporting real routine-building, not just one-off drop-ins.
With around 62–63 recurring members, the team has intentionally cultivated an “intimate relationship” with the people they serve, while still aiming to help many more people benefit from meditation.
2. Why They Chose WellnessLiving
Brooklyn Meditation came to WellnessLiving looking for a smoother, more professional client experience than what their patchwork of tools could deliver. They had been using Calendly for bookings, Wix for some subscriptions, and Clover for other payments, which worked, but felt increasingly unsustainable as they planned to grow.
Pam put it plainly: “Everything was a little piecemeal and chaotic before the switch.”
What they wanted most was a really easy sign-up process for classes and memberships, so new members could get started quickly, build consistency in the first month or two, and stay longer. That early window matters because, as Pam explained, “those first month or two are very delicate,” and the more friction they can remove, the better their retention will be.

3. What They’re Building

4. What Success Looks Like
Over the next 6–12 months, Brooklyn Meditation is focused on growth that still feels personal: improving retention, strengthening onboarding, and expanding access to the practice without adding administrative burden to a small team. Success means removing friction so members can build a routine and feel real-life benefits, the kind that make meditation feel essential.
As Pam described from her own experience, “this WellnessLiving membership… this is as important as rent. This is as important as utilities.”
With a target go-live planned for early February, Brooklyn Meditation is setting the foundation for a more streamlined client journey, clearer marketing, and a platform that supports the next stage of their community.
