Customer Spotlight: First Five Club
Last Updated on 16 April, 2026
A community-first club helping families with young children play, grow, and feel supported, from open play to prenatal and postpartum programming.
1. Introducing First Five Club
Led by owner Whitney Stoner, First Five Club is built for families navigating the early years. The club pairs open play with a robust class lineup that supports both kids and caregivers, including multi-week series like prenatal education and prenatal yoga, plus early childhood programs such as dance and themed “adventure yoga.”
Whitney also offers add-ons that expand the business beyond day-to-day visits, including studio rentals and a fast-growing birthday party program that’s become a major revenue driver.
2. Why They Chose WellnessLiving
First Five Club is transitioning a patchwork of tools and is looking for a more seamless, automated way to run the business. As Whitney put it, WellnessLiving felt like it was “taking, like, 4 different softwares that I’m using right now, and pulling them into one.”
Whitney’s focus was on finding a platform that could reduce admin load quickly, especially around client management, staff workflows, and high-volume bookings. She also called out the added flexibility she didn’t have before, like being able to let non-members sign up for something as a guest, and make it easier for families to book without friction.
3. What They’re Building
Whitney’s plan is to use WellnessLiving as the operational hub for the business, including:
- Data migration for existing members, bringing over the active membership lists while leaving older, inactive accounts behind for a cleaner start.
- Memberships and pricing that match their model, including two tiers with unlimited playroom access (and an “All Access” option that includes classes), plus multi-passes and day passes.
- Events and classes built for families, especially multi-week series where clients should enroll once and be registered for all sessions, while still allowing drop-ins when families can’t commit.
- Mobile staff tools to reduce front-desk chaos, including taking class attendance from a phone using the Elevate Staff app.
- Payments integration through Nuvei, so sales and reporting can live in one place.
- Waivers and forms, which Whitney “would really like to use” but previously had no simple way to distribute and collect.
A major priority is birthdays. Right now, Whitney is “manually inputting everything” and “sending every email to remind them, like, it’s time to pay.” With birthdays booked nearly every weekend, she’s looking to shift as much as possible to a self-serve flow where families can request and register, and staff can manage details without everything living in Whitney’s inbox.
WellnessLiving provides not only the client management tools she needs, but also automated SMS reminders and email advertising to take it off her plate.
4. What Success Looks Like
Success for First Five Club means moving from founder-led operations to a system the whole team can confidently run. Whitney is already feeling the pressure of growth and delegation, sharing that birthdays require “a lot of trust,” and that she’s relying on staff more than ever. With WellnessLiving, she’s aiming for less manual work, clearer visibility into attendance and value for members, and smoother experiences for families booking classes, camps, and parties.
In Whitney’s words, the goal is a platform that “does some work for me,” so she can spend less time chasing logistics and more time building the community and programming vision behind First Five Club.
