Meet Kathleen Scharf, Co-Owner and Business Development Director
After selling her telecommunications company, Kathleen followed her passion for fitness and became part of the ownership group that purchased Elevate Sports Performance & Healthcare. The first location in Las Vegas opened in 2017, while the second facility launched right before the pandemic in January of 2020.

“When you first come in, you might start with a chiropractor, and then move into the training side or get involved with a nutritionist. Or you get injured and end up seeing one of our doctors,” says Kathleen. “Every client begins with an assessment so we can develop a program that’ll be most effective for you. The best part is that our system feeds each service. Our team works together and communicates with one another, so we can help clients achieve physical freedom and reach their goals faster!”
Why did you switch to WellnessLiving?
Elevate Sports Performance & Healthcare had been using Pike13, but there hadn’t been too many updates in five years.
Kathleen wanted a software provider who made regular updates and was constantly improving the software based on customer feedback.

Forms
At Elevate Sports Performance & Healthcare, 95% of new clients are referrals and they book a discovery session to learn more. When clients sign up for services, a specific form is automatically sent to collect their information using WellnessLiving’s drag-and-drop digital form builder—Forms. In addition, Kathleen uses Forms to create intake forms and obtain client responses for massage clients.
Once clients fill out the form, all the data is automatically saved and stored to the client’s profile—a hub that collects and tracks client data. If clients forget to fill out a form, Kathleen can easily send an email or text to remind clients to complete it.
Advanced Reporting
Perhaps Kathleen’s favorite tool is advanced reporting. She uses the customizable dashboards which contain any WellnessLiving report and key metrics about her business.
- Appointment Analysis Report: If Kathleen needs to cancel a class, she can run this report and send a message to let clients know.
- Class Analysis Report: Whenever they need to check class performance, this report compares attendance history for various classes.
- Check-Ins Report: This report lets Kathleen know which days and times clients came into their class or appointment.
- Balance Due Report: If a client’s payment failed or hasn’t paid yet, this report indicates who owes money.
- Payroll Summary Report: Kathleen says, “the payroll reporting is the best part of WellnessLiving. Once I got it set up, it’s easy to keep track of staff pay and services provided by staff members. It turns a job that used to take all day into an hour or two.”
Communication Tools and Email Marketing

“Personally, I believe talking to clients on the phone creates a more personal touch, but since technology is very prevalent in today’s society, a lot of our younger athlete clients are more comfortable with texting or email,” says Kathleen.
