Customer Spotlight: Aura Wellness Collective

A community-first wellness hub bringing Reiki, yoga, sound healing, massage, and workshops closer to home in Edwardsville.
1. Introducing Aura Wellness Collective
Based in Edwardsville, Illinois, Aura Wellness Collective is a growing wellness space founded by Holly Weber to make holistic care more accessible for her local community. After attending her first Reiki attunement at age 20, Holly felt what she described as “a really deep call to really step into helping others,” which led her to launch Resonate Reiki Healing in 2020.
Now known as Aura Wellness Collective, she brings together multiple practitioners and modalities under one roof, offering services like Reiki, massage, yoga, sound healing, and workshops.
Holly’s goal is to create the kind of supportive, healing-focused environment that many residents previously had to travel for: she’s noticed that “a lot of people have to go to St. Louis to kind of receive some of the things that I’m offering now,” and she wanted to build that awareness and community right in town.
2. Why They Chose WellnessLiving
Holly is moving to WellnessLiving from Acuity, after running more than one Acuity account across her businesses. A key driver was simplifying the client experience and cutting down repetitive admin work, especially around forms and intake.
As Holly put it, with her current setup, “if I’m a yoga student and I want to come in 3 times a week, then I’m having to go in and fill out the consent form every single time,” and she wanted a system that allows them to fill it out once, and then book when they want.
She also wanted a more integrated platform overall. While Acuity handled basic scheduling, Holly could tell WellnessLiving offered a lot more integrated into it, including tools to support:
- client self-service booking
- staff logins and permission levels
- customized forms and waivers
- client management and messaging
- enticing rewards and loyalty programs
3. What They’re Building
Holly’s priority is getting everything into one place: appointments, classes, and events, with clear service categories and an easy online booking flow. She’s planning to migrate client data from Acuity (via CSV export) so existing clients can transition smoothly, and she’s especially excited to set up an online waiver process that clients only need to complete once.
Aura also has a unique multi-practitioner model, and Holly is designing her WellnessLiving setup to match. Some contracted practitioners will continue taking bookings and payments through their own systems to keep things simple for taxes. At the same time, Holly still wants Aura’s website and booking experience to feel cohesive. The plan is to list services in one central place, while routing certain bookings to each practitioner’s preferred link when needed.
On the operations side, she’s also looking forward to reducing manual work around staff coordination and compensation. Right now, Holly shares that for workshops and classes, she’s manually sitting down every two weeks to review bookings and calculate split payouts. With WellnessLiving, she’s working toward a setup where staff can have their own logins, manage schedules, and plug into shared systems without everything falling on her.
4. What Success Looks Like
For Holly, success with WellnessLiving starts with a smooth launch and a streamlined client experience: one account, one waiver flow, and simple online booking for the services Aura offers most often.
Just as importantly, she’s building a foundation that supports growth without adding complexity. With more wellness centers starting to pop up nearby, Holly is focused on being ready to welcome more of her community in the months ahead, confident that Aura has the systems and support to keep delivering high-touch care while operating more efficiently.
